POPMYBERRY MY ASS....


ok look, alot of you out there are still going out to other shops, low yat plaza, or especially this POPMYBERRY shop. and keep telling me the price comparison, oh how cheap or whatever.
for example, silicone cases, yes their silicone case might be cheaper, but if u ever own one, and buy 1 from me, u know the difference is theirs is so much thinner, feels so much cheaper. THATS BECAUSE IT IS. it costs them 2-4RM for each case only buying @ wholesale from INDONESIA. just because they put a logo on it, put it in a fancy box and sell it to you, doesnt mean make the products any better, im sorry.

These guys charging 220rm for the whole set, where by u CANT EVEN CUSTOMIZE IT! charging u on things u probably wont even need, like the middleplate/chassis, and give u this matching color screen that they cant even put on?!? (this guy in picture didnt even need the keypad OR the trackball, still... 220rm)

yes having a shop has its advantage, u can go to their shop and buy it straight. but some of u already know that the shop offers poor customer service, which u are PAYING for their shop rental and their salary, some more requires ur phone for like an hour for a stupid 5mins change. and OHHH dont even get me started on the quality.

lets talk about trackballs, cuz its the most common changes. listen, im not saying mine is WAY better or anything, its probably from the same friggin factory, but i dont charge 50-110rm to change for you guys. 30rm is what i charge, free installation. it will probably last you just as long as theirs, but i dont overprice it. i started this blog to make it affordable for everybody to customize their bb.
now on to their paint quality. its not the first i've seen people changing it there, then come to me to change a month later, telling me, "oh i shouldve changed with you instead" because the PAINT IS PEELING & CHIPPING FOR NO REASON, CAMERA TRIM FALLING OFF etc etc. first of all, if ur talking about housing change, i think i have the MOST selections out there for now. sure, i dont have stocks like them (but tell me, if u've walked in there, u know how many color choices they have... like 5??!?) and even if low yat has a bit more, do they allow u to just mix and match ur parts however u want to and let u really customize it? i honestly dont think any of them care if u are happy with ur bb after, they just want ur money.

me, i actually want YOU to be proud of ur bb when u hold it, because i want YOU to tell ur friends about me. i work mostly on referrals, so it matters to ME.
what about their product quality? please people, u live in malaysia, u been to Petaling Street, u KNOW even knock-offs have GRADES. no different in housings!! there are hundreds of factories in China and Indonesia. u must know the quality of the product before you buy. but its hard to tell when u dont know much huh? THATS WHY U GOTTA KNOW THE SELLER!

yes i do want to open a shop, but it requires 50-100k, if anybody is willing to invest, i dont mind to do business with them. =) but until then, i cannot possibly keep all the colors and styles and designs and finishing for all phones just about yet. SOON hopefully. but until then, im making BB-owners happy, one at a time! catch me if u havent yet. =P

as for POPMYBERRY, GG-THX FOR COMING OUT-BYE.

Aiya about blackberry also want to make big fuss. I buy phone and accessories in low yat different shops selling different prices. can you write a hate mail letter like this to them also ah bro. then we all can get cheap prices from everywhere.

popomyberry sucks hard, and they are way over charging their low quality products,
just because they have a shop, and all the fancy boxes, they overcharge, sigh,
and their software services are priced RM60 above, come on la,
its just a few clicks of the mouse for rm60? sigh,

i have to agree with you on this matter, bought few casings from popmyberry and it pills off rosakkan my white BB :( and when i return back to them about this matter, they just ignored me, popmyberry sucks, the customer service, the product, everything just suck much! way to go, support you bro!

You did a good job being honest and revealing the name of that shop. What's the matter with us Malaysians trying to 'protect' these people? If they offer bad service, then just say so! What, popmyberry can't take any healthy competition?

I'm not saying this with thin air. Walked in, customer service was bad. Very cocky.

Asked about the screen protector for BB 9700 and decided to get one. Was told the price, no doubt it's cheap.

When they had it installed, first thing I noticed was that the screen protector was installed, biased to the bottom. Fine, RM 28 only mah what to complain.

Once I started using the phone, I noticed that everytime I use the trackpad upwards, my thumb will be in contact with the edge of the screen protector. How stupid can these people be; kononnya Blackberry experts, don't they know that the frikkin trackpad is just right at the bottom?!?

And installation wasn't good; bubbles came after a night. Got so fedup with it and just peeled it of.

My say? F*ck you, POPMYBERRY! POP MY F'CKIN ASS!

look, im not trying to hate, im all for competition. and i know there will be. but look man, if ur gonna charge people SO MUCH on these cheap ass housings, at least give them a reason to, OTHER THAN THE FANCY BOXES.

im just protecting the consumers whos gonna spend their money on their beloved BB and get shit afterwards, i just feel bad they come to ME after and change housing again cuz they already spent so much with these so called, competition.

this post was to EDUCATE those people who dont know.

yes i am hating, it is my blog, im entitled to my opinion. i only speak the truth. u dont have to read. im not condemning. if i dont say something, how would people know? after they spent 220rm later?

if they are good, then i got nothing to say right? i should be afraid. but no, they are probably making 100x more than me, but thats not the point. if ur doing a good job, all to you. but i just hate to see ur hard earned money spent on ur beloved bb on just BS.

ok i dont understand u people out there who actually did change ur housing at popmyberry and actually said it sux..??? most of all how do we even know that the phone colour was even peal of by it self or someone might just peal if off by it self..??? and by the way the phone looks like as if its been drop in the drain and actually spoiled by it self....yes we wont know it rite???but if u look on the other side every one in this world are the same no body if perfect so does every thing in the world. many people have different opinion on its own so yea. we dont have to say anything or even curse them just let the people think for them self and let them make their choice. may be eric gives u guys good services but may be some may not like his stuff or wat so ever we dont know what people think sometimes so as for me i would personaly just say eric may be right n he may not be right but just ask ur self if u say no to pop my berry then its ok its your lost maybe but if u say yes to pop my berry den its up to you...im not siding anyone side so just think about it dont think like a small child think openly and positively ok?? im done so to all the people out there who reads this blog please have an open mind and thanks to eric for leting us know about pop my berry but i should also say please dont judge anyone by what people say or picture it...

At the end of the day, please ask yourself an honest question. Was I at fault in any way to cause my BB to suffer in such a manner?

As far as being competitive, you've just shown how aggressively shallow you are.

Stop focusing on what you deem as inferior in other people's products or services, and just concentrate on improving your own.

Consumers are not stupid, in fact people come back and do business with people who care more about giving the best service, rather than slagging people of.

Be a great competitor, not a tattle tale.

everyone just need to take a dose of chill pill and use your own right to choose whatever way or medium for them to get their products.Regardless from blogs,ebay,lowyat,popmyberry or whatever place that they want to.

condemning one wouldn't solve anything.Yes I do understand that Eric might have a point there, but if he's got anything to prove why delete the negative comment that any user posted about him ?

oh I forgot, it's his blog right ? silly me..Better to take cheap shots and hit people in the nuts and be cocky about it rather than receiving a direct blow from your old customers and actually learn something about it I might say.kudos

all these posts above sure from popmyberry staff, if not the staff maybe friends of the staff,

all of the malays there are very cocky, thinking that wow they're so cool to have opened a blackberry accessories shop, come on la, just because u have a fancy shop, u have the right to be cocky to customers? people are paying hard earned money for the products and services, not for the fancy boxes or for entering a fancy shop.

someone might even go burn your shop in a few days,

Popmyberry store cheats customer! I sent my BB Torch phone to them for a repair because I read about how good they are. The fact is they CHEAT their customer. My BB has a problem with the touch screen therefore I sent it to them, waited for 3 weeks and paid RM280 for it. After I got my phone back, I tested it and still find that there is issue with the touch screen so i sent my phone back to them since it's under a WARRANTY PERIOD of 14 days.
Then they said they need to take it back to the factory for a repair and I waited for 2.5 weeks without any acknowledgement which I kept calling them to ask how it is. When I pick my phone up, they CHARGED me additional RM110 because they said it's a different problem on the touch screen itself. I have no choice but to pay but this is nonsense. There is no such thing as their SO-CALLED WARRANTY PERIOD because they will still charge you and tell you it's a different problem.

Not to mention how slow and inefficient customer service they have. Not even calling to tell what's the problem with the phone and what kind of charges they will be charging. And not even call back when they promised to call back.

TERRIBLE !
