9700 MIDDLE-PLATE/CHASSIS EXPERIMENTAL!!

well shit, somebody has to do it. if i dont do it, i dont know who else would. haha anyways, here goes! i ordered a brand spankin' new OEM chassis, and experiment on this transplant to see how hard can it be.....

after what seems like an hour or so of trial and error, and VOILA!! done and done! haha it was challenging, but im sure it gets easier everytime. im so glad i didnt fuck it up like the trackpad! haha tested, and worked. =)

as you can see from the pics, the buttons they didnt provide it with matching color, so have to use the ori color. will see if they gonna provide with them later or not. =( also this set of housing's fitting seems to be slightly off. but barely noticeable.

anyways, a whole set like this will set you back 250 - 300rm, parts and installation.

please refrain urself from haggling the price as im sure alot of people out there will agree my price will be cheapest. thanks. =)

8900 COLORWARES COLOR HOUSING

the other day i recieved a request for 8900 custom color housing. i did a few examples for my client for her to choose. the keypad i have now is with full color, not like the picture here where its black. if u want like that also can =) anyways, these housings below will cost 140-300rm, depending on the parts ur changing. she also requested color LED and color Trackball. =)

well some exciting news! its been 10 days since im free from my job. i just met with the web designer the other day for revamping this site, for better organizing and sorting, for better viewing experience. he will also be doing my business card! i reckon this site will have its new look next weekend! there will be ALOT more pictures for ur selections too! makes life easier!

COLOR TRACKPAD UPDATE...

well guys, i tried to change the trackpad, and here is what happened....

i didnt wanna fuck up my own oem trackpad, and there is no instruction anywhere as to HOW to change the trackpad, even though the part has become available for a few weeks. soooo, i ordered a brand spankin new trackpad, JUST SO I CAN TRY THIS SHIT OUT.

1 hour later...... it was a fucking success!! i was soooo SOOO happy. the first person to have a trackpad changed! it was tested, and tracking perfectly!! BUT, there was a problem with the button, it wouldnt press properly. so, it looked like i didn't glue, sandwiched back the parts properly and it became too fat, and touching the keypad....

took it apart, and put TINY bit of liquid super glue on it to seal the deal....

THEN IT WASN'T TRACKING AT ALL. fuck! it was totally the glue's fault! later i found out, that wasnt even the problem, the problem was the..... whatever. IM JUST PISSED. i had it working and now its not. now i have to wait! but oh well, i know how to do it now! hehe

due to the amount of work that goes into this, it is not cheap people.... 100RM is the price.

when you order these, u will get a BRAND NEW working trackpad, and i will take ur old one to save time on installation.

here u go guys, just so u can seee what its like after. haha its broken cuz i tried to take the hat back out to reuse, but its glued in there pretty good =(
